Yeah I kind of though the folded on the chimney was a none starter, like getting an old gettoblaster it wouldn’t be the same, you can't bring back the past.

I took a walk round the side with my pocket radio, its quite private round there, I could pick out heart 88 in the clear and 87.7fm too, reception seemed better than indoors, there is some atmospherics right now, i’ll have to do it again tomorrow, but time is running out for the 87.7fm transmission, I might not have anything there to align it too. I suppose its facing south west, who knows the aerial proped up might just work, south west tends to be direction were these things come from.

The gp is interesting it might pick up better if they were pointing in the right direction, it is more of tx aerial i’m not sure I want to be doing, even if they are pointed in a simliar direction, its still something that is poking out, it is abit more difficult to handle. When I tried one in the loft I still had mulitpath when I listened through

i’ve started to think I might not bother with this, I was messing with aerial, i’m more started to think it might be best to listen on my pocket radio out there, maybe just connect up the tef radio to something temporty and have a listen take it down, i’m not that keen having something that can seen permently, even though nothing would be been txed through it, I think it would just draw attention, I think people would think something would be been txed through it and would wonder what it was for. You never hear of anyones transmissions, its something their not interested in, maybe its better just to blend in with the joneses
