looks like the NRG website is back as well....
-
If you mean Kent yes that’s us it’s been awhile since we was on still internet based tho
-
Hiya good to see you I vaguely remember your station if it is the same one I am thinking of (SE UK?) And quite a long time ago since being on FM, maybe 10 years ? I may have that totally wrong though.
-
Come from radionecks how are we all ?
-
Sorry I dupe posted this on the wrong topic anyway here goes again...anything to get people over... we need a critical mass. i
Whatever happens, even if it comes back and can go again.
Many factors might involve bothering to sign up. The chance of it coming back online would be significant, maybe some just think it might come back. It may do
but it can drop off again any time.
I can remember the following names, sorry if you are here already. I know some are ;) RadioNorthEast, Shuffy, DaveParsons, Duncanorak, Sprog (or sproggy) TheListener maybe?, MPX, the guy down on the south coast with the beam on the hill, I cannot recall the name. Might be good to post a few names you can recall so they might have impetus to sign up quicker
I have bookmarked this place now so I see it and log on more. Everyone has to do their bit I think, whatever you can do, do it. It might all help.
We need some pirate chat around the Xmas time, Frosty dipoles and all that ;D
-
I know a fair few of the Manchester-area necks would listen in to the stations I put on over the last few years. Maybe I should put something up with a message in the RDS, see how many we can get to join ;D
-
If you are a Radionecks member please sign up here so we can try and keep something on the go. I signed up a week ago and was a regular anorak, hint I used to enjoy the radio
. Don't delay it so we can
try and get a critical mass of users and get something up and running here asap. :D
It is only you as an ex Radionecks visitor/member that can do it, no one else can ! So make the effort and we can all benefit.
Do nothing and it all dies.
It would be good for pirate radio lovers past and present to keep some interest and community going.
Hi Schmellenschmellen, it's great to see your support for our new forum and home for all things pirate radio.
Remember to tell a friend to tell a friend ;)
Yes have done so not sure if they are a member already but I prodded them to sign up.
We need to get a critical mass going. Fingers crossed people get their act together and sign up.
I think someone on another forum said they were having a problem signing up here, on that more normal forum, digital spy Radionecks down topic I think.

I checked there again today and its still down
. I don't think keep checking anymore....!
-
I see some posts on the digital spy forum about radio necks. https://forums.digitalspy.com/discussion/2417282/other-radio-forums/p2
-
Yes I see that too, maybe it’s pointless sending a message via that way then, as might not even check it.
-
To answer my own question, there is a Facebook profile which you can message from directly https://www.facebook.com/share/1DF3Waueye/?mibextid=wwXIfr
that facebook page not been updated for a long time
-
Well, that’s definitely interesting to know that the New Zealand NRG kit website has also gone down. I check Radio Necks periodically to see if anything has changed, and today there was an Error 500 code which was different.
If RN is anything to do with the NRG kits of New Zealand then there must be a social media page where we can contact them directly?
(Attachment Link)
this a London Cloudflare issues. been happening on a lot of sites today.

I doubt Ofcom have anything to do with it personally. I've seen pirate sites (of the streaming kind, not the RF kind) get seized before, and usually they redirect the domain to a landing page with the gov agencies logo on it, or just de-activate the domain entirely.
The error page shows that phpBB is running but can't access its backend database. This means the server is up but something has gone wrong, possibly the result of a hack but most likely just **** breaking the way tech always does.
Does anyone know who actually runs the site and how to contact them? I'm sure I heard it was the same guy out of New Zealand who took over running NRG kits. The nrgkits.co.nz site is also down with a database error so quite possibly hosted on the same server. If they don't want to run the site anymore/don't have time/whatever I'd be more than happy to take over running it.

I wasnt able to get this forum now morning. I was already thinking that this forum went also.
I got my information from one FM pirate from netherlands about RN, but I dont know it is true.
The forum has had some major updates in the last 24 hours, so the ISR you saw is likely due to outdated or missing cached pages in your device. There is not going to be any further changes to the forum. What you see is how it going to stay now.

So if this is the case, potentially no forum is safe? I think many people are keen to have an update on exactly what happened.
If possible, it would be handy if admin from the RN forum could come here and give us an update personally.
-
Had to register here too.
Our friends from netherlands told that ofcom was behind of this, i dont know it is true or not.
They have had quite many raids in netrherlands and germany this autumn, so it might be possible it was bureaucracy ricochet from there.
-
Still no news.
Had posted on HFU regarding such.
Any 'Real' news?
Surely someone must know??
Regards to All.
