108 Sheffield

Hello everyone.. Just getting back into things all radio again and had a tune around 2pm today and found **** bouncy type music playing on 108 fm.. Not coming through clear but managed to move a wire or two and picked it up!
It's a bit loud in places and it sounds a bit distorted, maybe no limiter or compressor?

If radionortheast sees this, or8 mate, hope your good 👍

Hi, thanks, yeah i’ve been trying to continue posting over there rn, its making me too anxious, theres noone there from my area, think fmlover the only one i’ve got along with from the south, I don’t understand the situation there, i’m thinking of not posting over there.
I’ve not heard anything here, the aerial i’ve got I can tune it to any frequency my little tx can get out the same way.

I've only heard this a couple of times and I'm pretty sure it's a young lad up the road setting off in his papap 👍
Loving the discussion over int other place about Yorkshire pirates, just a pity i can't contribute thanks to the wazak that runs it 👍

Someone over there said my posts were pointless, its got harder to post admin deleted it, they are regular poster on there, i had been taking an interest in london stations.
I’ve had to stop using my 1w, it was effecting some people doing some works, never would of though it, sensitive equipment. I’ve been using an mp3 player instead, sometimes I often do think i’m still listening to it.

yeah i’ve been enjoying hearing what they’ve got to say, didn’t want to interupt anything, often think of stations I used to hear. its strange I only looked up about radio britannia afew weeks ago. The music wasn’t my cup of tea but I did love his character, I wish there would of been something about squeeky and the chip shop lassy.

I don’t think I read it the first, I was amazed by the detail of it, he looked like what I though he would do, the place it came from, the end terrace with all the aerials in the back garden, just how I imagined it to look. I loved that the tx was kept in the front room, with a banner round it, 200w, into a colineer that gave 500w, it was held by guyed wires in the air.
He wrote up shortwave magazine under a different name, about how he could pick up stereo signals from far and wide and about not been able to get his commuications reciever repaired. I couldn’t help and look afterwards to try and find the house on google, I didn’t know were to look. He came from rotherham, moved to barnsley, likely it would be on air from there on a different frequency, it was on mw and sw too.  You kind of wish it was someone who you’d known
