Theres still people over there too who have an interest in radio, most of them are alright, its shame you don’t hear anyones transmissions.
I do agree with you on alot things, I suppose alot of txers get built for a challenge or for export, there might be some people who live in other countries, your not going to hear them, perhaps their been used on london pirates you might be hearing them through online recievers who knows. 
Loads of things reach monitoring stations weak or strong, If there had been something scanning up and down it would of likely found all those random links that were playing music, would of flagged up instantly, no transmissions would of taken place anywhere they would of all got closed down the next day.
